Options
While the farm features a small produce garden, elderberry crops, chickens and turkeys, the main event is their herd of donkeys that you can have a meet and greet with.
Get the chance to interact with their donkeys – brush them, pet them, get a donkey hug and even take selfies with them (for which they love to strike a pose!) – all while learning all about what it takes to raise and care for donkeys. The farm also sells some preserved goods and sensitive skin care products made with donkey milk.

In the fall, this is the place to be for freshly-picked pumpkins and a pick-your-own pumpkin patch.
Visitors are welcome to wander into the patch to find their own perfect pumpkin for decoration on Thanksgiving, carving it up for Halloween or to use in baking.
The patch itself also offers the perfect photo op for a cute autumn picture of the family!

For those interested in touring the 1000 Islands region in a less conventional style, the stable offers public guided trail rides for all levels and experience of riders.
These small groups are private and by appointment only, but allow you the chance to saddle up and see the rugged, rural landscape of the Frontenac Arch from a new perspective.

The Gananoque Farmers’ Market takes place every Thursday in the summer months to showcase vendors and producers from around the area.
The market gets you access to fresh produce, handmade preserves and baked goods, floral arrangements and fresh baked breads. It’s sure to get your mouth watering!

The farm produces a variety of alpaca wool yarns and visitors are welcome to come and visit with the herd, match the yarns to the animals they come from and have the opportunity to feed and take a photo with them, all at no charge!
The farm is wheelchair accessible, and they are able to accommodate different groups and needs. They also have a collection of yarns, hand knit mittens, Ecuadorian handwoven scarves and blankets – all made with alpaca wool – available for purchase in person and online (www.thepacashack.com)!

An educational farm experience where you can interact with their different animals – from alpacas, to pigs, to mini ponies and sheep. You are given the opportunity to get up close and learn about each animal.
